Since this primarily began as a scientific study of sleep pattern alteration, here are some data points that might differentiate me from the average person testing out polyphasic sleep:

General

Sex: Male
Age: 27 (at time of experiment)

Diet

1. I seldom eat meat (chicken 1 or 2 times a month, fish 1 to 2 times per week)
2. I never eat mammals (and you might be surprised by how many people are shocked to learn that chicken is NOT a mammal…)
3. I am allergic to milk (so I eat nothing with milk, whey, butter, cheese, etc…)
4. I seldom drink caffeine (a cup of green tea about 1-2 times per month)

Exercise

1. I walk about 800 steps per day (not enough)
2. about once per month, I ride a unicycle (a little more exercise than a bike–and good for the abs) for about 40 minutes
3. I work with computers (so I sit most of the day)

Sleep

When I am on a normal sleep pattern, I sleep very irregularly. You can see on my graph that I sometimes sleep 6 hours one night and then the next night, 11…
I can fall asleep at any time. I am especially susceptible to sleeping in moving vehicles so I used to take naps on the way to work in the bus (before I got an iPhone).

There’s is more data I’m sure that would be useful but that’s all for now.
